Manufacturing Cell Line Development 

Antitope routinely generate manufacturing cell lines producing high levels of humanized antibodies for clinical trials. Lead antibodies are cloned into proprietary pANT™ mammalian expression vectors. This system allows for the co-expression of both heavy and light chains in a single amplifiable vector system.

Typically Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) or mouse myeloma cells (NS0) are used as hosts to produce expressing clones. The resulting clones are amplified by elevating levels of methotrexate. Cells are then grown in serum-free medium and the best yielding cell lines with optimal stability are selected for cell banking and transferring to manufacturers.

All of Antitope's manufacturing cell lines are produced in accordance with GLP: the cell lines and vector components therefore have full traceability and are suitable for direct GMP manufacture and clinical trials.
