Standard Humanized Antibodies

Standard humanization can be undertaken in parallel with the generation of Composite Human Antibodies™. Germ-line human V regions are selected as acceptors for CDRs from the starting antibody (typically rodent). Selected amino acids from the starting antibody V region framework sequences are introduced into the germ-line human frameworks in order to optimize binding. Lead humanized antibodies are selected for maximal retention of affinity and specificity. Standard humanized antibodies made by Antitope demonstrate good retention of affinity and specificity with minimization of T cell epitopes through the use of human germ-line V regions.
