23th April 2007 - Antitope Ltd. today announced a research agreement with Medtronic Inc. for the generation of a novel biologic. As part of the agreement, Antitope will apply its proprietary Composite Human AntibodyTM technology to produce a therapeutic antibody with a reduced risk of immunogenicity.

"We are extremely pleased to be working with Medtronic" said Dr Matthew Baker, Chief Scientific Officer and founder of Antitope Limited. "This collaboration combines Antitope's expertise in antibody engineering technologies with Medtronic's expertise in drug-device combination technologies to create a novel treatment for patients with lifelong chronic disease."

This announcement follows separate announcements earlier this year of Antitope's research agreements with GlaxoSmithKline plc, ARIUS Research, Inc. and Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Inc.
