Antitope to Present at the Next Generation Protein Therapeutics Summit in Budapest on 11th Sept 2008
Dr. Matthew Baker, CSO of Antitope, will chair a conference session entitled "Measuring and Reducing Immunogenicity" at this year's Next Generation Protein Therapeutics Conference in Budapest. Dr Baker will also be presenting a paper during the session on "Early Pre-clinical Assessment of the Potential for Immunogenicity".
The presentation will provide an outline of immunogenicity risk factors including the importance of T cell epitopes in clinical immunogenicity, risk factors associated with immunogenicity, accurate detection of T cell epitopes in biopharmaceuticals, case studies highlighting links between T cell epitopes and clinical immunogenicity as well as strategies to re-engineer proteins to avoid or remove T cell epitopes.
